FAQs
The Practice
-
Everything we do is designed and delivered to you by Board-Certified Medical Doctors based in Michigan and Ohio.
Hormone optimization requires careful medical judgment, ongoing monitoring, and a clear understanding of your symptoms, labs, and goals. That is why our patients have direct access to the Physician guiding their care.
No rushed visits. No being passed around. No one-size-fits-all approach.
Personalized, direct-care medicine by Doctors who take the time to help you feel your best.
-
First, schedule your consultation online with Dr. Tuczynski. You’ll receive an Intake Form by email to complete before your visit.
During your visit, we’ll review your symptoms, health history, and goals to better understand what you’re experiencing and whether hormone optimization may be right for you.
Next, you’ll complete comprehensive lab testing through a nationwide lab network. Dr. Tuczynski will review your labs in detail with you and create a personalized assessment and treatment plan.
From there, you can begin treatment with clear guidance, direct Physician support, and ongoing follow-up to monitor your progress and optimize your results over time.

Insurance & Billing
-
Edge Health is a direct-care clinic, which means we do not contract with insurance companies.
We chose this model because hormone optimization and peptide therapy require time, access, personalization, and ongoing adjustment. Insurance-based care creates delays, prior authorizations, rushed visits, limited treatment options, and administrative barriers that can interfere with the patient care. Treatment and testing is dictated by insurance companies.
At Edge Health, medical decisions are made between you and your Physician — not insurance companies or hospital system administrators.
This allows us to provide transparent pricing, direct physician access, comprehensive lab-guided treatment planning, and personalized care designed around your symptoms, goals, and long-term well-being.
-
Edge Health believes in transparent, direct-care pricing.
Your initial cost to start includes a P consultation. If you choose to move forward after your consultation, an Executive Membership is required for lab coordination, treatment planning, follow-up monitoring, and ongoing optimization.
Additional costs may include lab testing and medications, depending on your personalized treatment plan.
Before treatment begins, we clearly review your expected costs so you can make an informed decision with confidence.
-
Edge Health patients may be able to use HSA or FSA funds for eligible medical expenses, including lab testing and certain prescribed treatments.
Eligibility depends on your specific plan and IRS guidelines. We recommend confirming coverage with your HSA/FSA administrator before using funds.
Edge Health does not determine HSA/FSA eligibility, but we do provide receipts for services rendered so patients may submit documentation when needed.
Membership
-
The Edge Health Executive Membership is designed for patients who want a higher level of access, personalization, and ongoing physician-led care.
You will have unlimited access to our Physicians, and the Doctor’s cell-phone number.
Your membership includes coordination of your hormone and peptide optimization program, including comprehensive lab planning, physician review of your results, personalized treatment recommendations, prescription management when appropriate, follow-up monitoring, and ongoing treatment adjustments.
-
Yes, lab work is included in the Executive Membership. We will order and coordinate lab work through our nation-wide lab network.
-
The cost of medication is not included in the Executive Membership. Our affiliated pharmacy will mail you any prescriptions. The cost of medications through our affiliated pharmacy is significantly less than a standard brick-and-motor pharmacy.
-
Please contact Dr. Tuczynski to discuss your case.
Hormone optimization is a process, not a one-time prescription.
For most patients, we recommend a minimum 6-month Executive Membership to allow enough time for comprehensive labs, treatment initiation, follow-up monitoring, dose adjustments, and meaningful symptom improvement.
Many patients choose to continue for 12 months or longer for ongoing optimization, direct physician access, lab monitoring, and long-term support.
Our goal is not just to start treatment — it is to help you safely optimize your results over time.
-
No. The initial consultation is separate. The Executive Membership begins if you choose to move forward after your consultation.
-
Yes. Edge Health is focused on hormone optimization, peptide therapy, and related wellness care. Patients should maintain a primary care physician for routine medical care, preventive screenings, urgent issues, and chronic disease management outside the scope of our speciality.
